Well, it’s about half of what it was when there was just a threat of war in the middle of the 1980s.
While all this is going on, the position of Defence Secretary has been reduced to a recreational role for the miserable Des Browne, who also has the honour of being Secretary for Scotland.
Reality of the issue is that Our Brave Boys fighting these two unjustified wars are famished of necessary tools and kit, and are forced to live in squalor self-esteem and confidence at the lowest point imaginable. Also, for risking their lives daily, they’re being paid the lowest wages out of all the Government Backed Jobs.
The protectors of this country’s’ rights deserve far better.
One senior Army officer who was expected to run the Army one day has already relinquished his post in revulsion; I wonder who will go next?
And now Gordon Brown has been told by five past chiefs of defences about how disgusting his behaviour has been towards Our Boys in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Get your head out of the sand and take a look at the complete picture Gordan. Do the right thing. You wouldn’t like it if it was happening to yourself or your own son would you?
Same way, these boys too are some ones child and are human beings.
Give them what they’re entitled to and what they deserve. This, according to my maths is cheaper than a two litre bottle of Pepsi Cola, and further equates to people being able to get smashed for less than a pound coin.

I’m sure everyone’s up for a good deal on something they want. However, personally I would hold these big supermarkets responsible for all the people getting drunk and behaving badly under the influence of drink and being a drain on public resources in many forms including taking up hospital time over drink related illnesses and police time.
I would further lay blame on these same supermarkets for enticing young people to drink more by cutting prices of alcohol to such a low level.

It’s been approximated by experts that supermarkets are losing about eight pence on each can of lager sold at such low costs.
It’s obvious that all these people care about is monopolising the market and lining their pockets with everyone’s cash, and not about the bearing such cheap booze is having on our society.

Can’t they see the hospitals full of drunkards stained with blood, our country’s police force struggling to contain violent behaviour promoted by booze, and no decent person daring to venture into town at night for fear of encountering a boozed up group of young people who have lost the ability to make proper decisions, and just want to be a nuisance?

Come on supermarkets, take your rose tinted glasses off, look at the bigger picture, and admit that you are the ones responsible for our country becoming a dream land for booze heads. Stop this idiotic price war to get the most people to buy their alcohol from your supermarkets.
I for one am pleased that the government have increased tax on booze!

Stevey Mac, Wake Up!

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Odi-jCUzI88/RzIG4PCAvZI/AAAAAAAAACk/eCqolr2HaqM/s200/lagalaxy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5130170488705826194" />
Football is a diificult and un-predictable game. Which is more the reason why no one could have ever predicted that the England football team manager, Steve McLaren, would decide to travel thousands of miles to Los Angeles on a weird scouting mission to see how David Beckham was performing lately.
What's wrong with that then?
The simple answer is, nothing.
However, when you realise that Beckhams football team, LA Galaxy were in-fact playing an unknown pub team which consisted of a 48 year old goalkeeper and a bunch of Hollywood actors, you should be able to work out that there is absolutely no point in wasting time on watching Beckham play such a team.
I have a feeling that McLaren likes to ice skate, especially so on thin ice.
I am of the opinion that McLaren's running out of time. November 28 2007 is the date of Englands must win Euro Qualifier match against Croatia.
I don't understand what Mac could have possibly achieved from this trip to LA, other than to cost the Football Association a few thousand pounds.
Another thought that crosses my mind is that LA Galaxy are presently manager-less. Perhaps McLaren would rather manage them.
Wake up Stevey boy, or go and manage LA Galaxy and let some one else, more committed take England to victory.

Echoes of the Cuban Missile Crisis

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Odi-jCUzI88/Ryojd_CAvVI/AAAAAAAAACM/RiLoTxojaSk/s320/russianm.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5127950123757780306" />
Russian President, Vladimir Putin, has suggested that if American President, George Bush, carries on the way he is going, that there is every chance that we could see another episode of the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Most European countries are rightly worried, that George Bush is scheming to use Europe to screen the North of the Americas from a Russian Missile attack, which quite simply is a figment of the Bush Administrations imagination, and does not exist.

The reality is that, by Bush planning such things, our regions, thousands of miles away from America, are now threatened by instability.

Russia were just carrying on with normal day to day life, until Mr Bush announced that he wants a Defence System built at Russia’s door step.

For those who don’t remember, in the early 60s, the world wobbled on the verge of the mother of all wars, the end of the world, because America were able to make Russia halt the exportation of around 100 missiles to Cuba, which lays about 100 miles away from America.

Nowadays, it seems as though the roles have slightly reversed, because now it’s the Russians turn to feel endangered, as the Bush Administration is planning to erect a number of anti missile bases dotted around Europe, including one in Poland. How much more close can America get to Russia? I’d say any closer and they’d be inside Russia.

The whole world knows that Russia is no idiot and possesses a vast amount of Nuclear Power. And with America behaving like the bully it has been doing so for many years now, there is a realistic chance there will be another Arms Race.
Just to safeguard themselves from a threat that only exists in their imagination; they are prepared to risk the stability of Europe.

Why can’t so many countries grow a backbone and side on the side of right, think of their own safety, not get intimidated by a bully, be assertive and refuse to let Bush use their lands to build his little toys.
Don’t forget that this is the same Bush that has made such a mess of Iraq, and has not exactly made any good decisions on any other policy in the Middle East.

I find it hard to understand how a person, who is responsible for the deaths of so many innocent Americans and Iraqis, not to mention any others, can stand in front of the world and give speeches. The guy is truly a failed President and has no shame.

POPULATION OVERLOAD

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Odi-jCUzI88/Rx45cpJ-GJI/AAAAAAAAABw/QrT-DAMqtGw/s320/immigrants.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5124596590240995474" />
Experts on national statistics believe that the population of our great country is on its way up by a ginormous 15,000,000 million residents.
This is due to the United Kingdoms baby boom within the female immigrants.
By around 2050, we will see our population soar to around 80,000,000.
With this many inhabitants, we will need many more schools, hospitals, prisons, and any other service you can think of.
I've always said that whichever government is in power, should limit the number of immigrants allowed to enter the UK. I had a feeling from the beginning of this whole saga that the parents look guilty.
They just seemed too calm through this whole event. I've seen many people in similar situations, but these people were complete wrecks, like their whole lives were turned upside down, but these two people seemed so chilled and so relaxed, always looking sharp and smart.
It now comes to light that the parents used to feed little Maddy mild sedatives to put her to sleep so that they could spend some time alone. How selfish!!
Then the mother had the cheek to say that, "leaving Maddy in an appartment next door to a restaraunt, in a strange country, is no different from them leaving the child asleep in the bedroom while they have dinner in the garden at home".
Erm......I don't think so you stupid, selfish woman, it's totally different! You're not even in the same property, you couldn't even see or hear Maddy, so it was nothing like being at home while the child was asleep upstairs.
Personally I'm glad that the parents are now suspects. I think that they should be charged with something, even if they didn't murder Maddy. There should atleast be a charge of gross neglect slapped on there faces.
Anyway, my thoughts and prayers are with little Maddy where ever the dear child is. And I'm off for the weekend now, so all of you who read my blog, Happy Weekend!!

Sod Fair Trade!!

What's wrong with the do gooders of this country, moaning about how cheap childrens school uniforms are?
Haven't these sad people got anything better to do?
I remember when I was at school, school uniforms costed an arm and a leg, it was ridiculous. Nowadays it seems quite possible to pick up a school uniform for about £10.00. Brilliant I say. So bloody what if some poor kid in a third world country is having to work extra long hours. They get paid a wage proportionate to their standard of living, they choose to do this work, no one forces them. I guess you could say that they are forced by fate, but never the less, in my opinion there's nothing wrong with buying one thing cheaper than buying the same thing for a higher price.
Don't get me wrong people, I do feel for these people and children but the facts of the matter are that if I can buy something cheaper from Morrisons, then why the heck should I go to the corner shop and pay more of my hard earned cash for the same product? It just aint gonna happen!!
I'm sure I can't be the only one thinking like this.
Fair Trade they call it. Sod Fair Trade I say!!! They're all a bunch of theiving gits!! Well I'm not blaming it all on work, some of the blame must lay with the fact that I have got another 4 blogs on the go. It appears to be as though there is no limit as to how many blogs you can create with Google, which is why I've ended up with 5 blogs, and now I don't feel like getting rid of them.
The difficulty lays with adding new content to them, thus regularly updating them, which helps pass regular traffic through your blog-site. If you never added new content to your blog, it would probably end up getting buried in the deepest of Google archives that ever existed.
It all started out as a new experience for me. I was new to the whole game of Internet, but now that I've been in it for a few months, I've realised that you're probably far better off having just 1 or 2 blogs and comitting yourself to them fully, rather than have 5 and then struggle to find content to add to them on a regular basis.
Alot of people create blogs for fun or to keep and share personal diaries with their families and freinds. However there are some people who use them to generate money from them. This is something that I'm not gonna get into at the moment, but worry not, because I will bring it up another time.
Meantime, I've gotta admit it's been emotional, and it's a really long week-end ahead of us. So all those who read this post have a great weekend.

ACT YOUR AGE!!!

Act your age? What the heck is act your age? What do people mean when they say, "act your age"? How is someone of a certain age supposed to act? How does someone define when acting their age should be done?
Should one stop wearing 3/4 length trousers when they reach the age of 30-40? And when someone reaches the age of, say, 50, should they start wrapping up to stay warm and start smoking a pipe?
When I put this question to my friend, Demented Don, he said the following:
"Acting ones' age is an esoterical euphamism spawned by individuals who are inherantly anal."
"Their lives are ordered and they in turn expect other peoples' lives to follow this same bland pattern, devoid of free thought and ones' need to express themselves....be it visually or orally."
"Age is no reason to subscribe to this narrow minded train of thought just because certain individuals feel that they themselves might be embarrased by the colorful actions of those people who refuse to conform to a prescribed pattern of social beliefs laid down by past generations, and indeed some of todays generations."

On that note I will say "Good-Bye" until next time!
But please feel free to visit my other sites and leave a comment or two.
News And Current Affairz.Current Affairs And News.SEO Superstars.Future Classic Cars.

Weekend Goodbyes'

Hello again, the weekend has arrived so quickly again, which in some ways is a good thing and in other ways is not so good.
It's good because I have a goal to reach which based on time, so the sooner that time come's the better.
And it's not so good because as each week is passing by I'm getting older. I was asked to do a health check on a particular website, but didn't feel comfortable doing this, maybe because I was a little unsure of how I would do this as I'm still very much a newbie to this whole Internet stuff.
However, after a little bit of gentle persuasion from a good work colleague,"Rascally", I knuckled down and got on with it.
I guess my initial stress was caused by me thinking that this exercise would take too much time. The task infact took just 30 minutes.
After this I felt a bit ashamed of myself for making such a big issue out of something so small.
30 minutes? type='text'>Introductory Bubblez

Hi all! I'm completely new to Blogging. Up until today I had no idea about how to set up a blog or the purpose of setting up a blog. How I found out about it is through a friend. Initially it sounded like a great idea, however only time will tell.
Come to think of it, just 4 months ago I didn't even have a clue about how to switch on a computer. But now I can feel myself slowly becoming a superstar, by learning a little more each day.
If there's any one who wants to blow some bubblez on my blog, please feel free to do so, as my whole intention of creating this blog is to talk about anything and everything, conspiracy theories, politics, current affairs, absolutely anything!
